As winter winds down things really start to heat up for maple syrup producers all over Vermont. The sap is flowing and the steam is streaming out of sugar houses all over the state!
If you've ever wondered how this sweet nectar of the gods is made, Maple Open House Weekends are when you should visit!
For the 2023 on the last weekend in March and the first weekend in April, sugar houses all over the state open their doors so you can see how it's done!
There are several large sugaring operations near by where you can view the entire process from the tree to the finished liquid gold! Samples are a plenty!
